![]() Using a mid-2021 Macbook Pro running Mojave. Am I missing something?ĭoes anyone have advice? If anyone uses Metric Halo gear with Reaper, I'd love to hear your insights. This same routing works fine inside of Ableton Live but not in Reaper. I have also tried simply plugging in a microphone to record the 2882's input into Reaper and it will not work. Everything seems to work except the inputs from Reaper will not see any input from my Metric Halo 2882/MIO Console software. ![]() ![]() I have tried this MANY times and worked with another engineer who is much better with MIO Console than me. However, I can get no input from MIO Console into my Reaper track. Compressor returns to MIO Console and then routes to track 2 in Reaper to print the results. I can see and hear that the compressor is working. MIO then sends to my MH 2882's hardware outputs which go to my Manley NuMu compressor. All our 2d interfaces have the same processing power and software features- the only differences are: The physical interfaces themselves (I/O, mic pres, ports, etc. It provides control over every aspect of your interfaces, and allows you work within a familiar 'mixer' paradigm. I have track one in Reaper with the track outputs routed into MIO Console. MIO Console is the software 'front end' for all of our hardware. However, recently I added a hardware compressor to my studio. I have been mastering in Reaper and loving it. Anyone have experience working with Reaper and Metric Halo? And are there any known issues like this one? (see below) I have searched through the forums but no luck finding any answers. This enables the use of host-based reverbs and delays with greatly simplified routing. This new feature also allows inserting processors that are hosted on the computer directly within the signal flow of the MIO low-latency hardware mixer. I/O inserts streamline the use of external analog and digital processors within the MIO mixer. For live sound and monitoring applications this allows the user to disconnect and re-connect the computer or quit and launch MIO Console without being concerned about introducing dropouts to ongoing primary and backup recordings or to the monitoring paths for talent. Experienced users will value the ability to have MIO Console re-connect to the hardware with exact recall of the current hardware state and no disruption of audio. With ConsoleSync, new users will experience a dramatically reduced learning curve for accessing the power of MIO Console. ConsoleSync auto loads the mixer configuration, complex signal processing chains, Monitor Controller settings, analog I/O configuration and even window layout from the hardware. ConsoleSync allows MIO Console to read the complete state of any attached hardware seamlessly, automatically and without any disruption of running audio. ![]() In addition to these new features, v.5.6 continues to improve stability and compatibility with current and future versions of Mac OS X.ĬonsoleSync is a unique enhancement to the Mobile I/O family that benefits both new and experienced users. Version5.6 includes the following new features: I/O inserts for accessing external hardware from within the MIO Mixer, ConsoleSync hardware/software synchronization technology, AAX ConsoleConnect plug-in for compatibility with Pro Tools 11, saving of system boot states and support for EuCon 3.0. SAFETY HARBOR, FLORIDA – AUGUST 2013: Metric Halo announces the immediate availability of MIO Console v.5.6, a free software upgrade for all users of the Mobile I/O family of audio interfaces, including the award-winning 2882, ULN-2, LIO-8 and ULN-8.
